45th Anniversary
SANDEN celebrated its 45th anniversary in Oceania in 2023!
Sanden International Oceania was established in Sydney Australia, in 1978, as an Auto Compressor sales office.
In 1980 it won the FORD OEM contract and during the period 1990-2000, supplied compressors to many local Auto manufacturers including, FORD, HOLDEN, MITSUBISHI and several other OEM customers. As a result of the eventual exit of all Auto manufacturers from Australia, SIO’s compressor business changed focus to the Aftermarket, achieving consistent sales growth ever since. Further, SIO diversified into the Hot Water market, with the launch of its innovative and environmentally friendly CO2 Hot Water Heat Pump business in 2011, quickly establishing itself as segment market leader. Today, both the Compressor and Hot Water Heat Pump businesses continue to thrive, by focusing on helping to improve the living standards of all Australians.
