This March, Sanden Corporation celebrates our 65th anniversary since the inauguration of business and takes this event as a good occasion to open the Sanden Football Park on the premises in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture, the cradle of us. As part of our future redevelopment plan of 18,000 tsubos (approx. 5.94 ha, or 14.4 ac) of site formerly used for Sanden’s HQ and Kotobuki Office, we are about to open the Park prior to the Sanden Global Center that is now under construction.
This complex is to have, on roughly 4,000 tsubos (approx. 1.32 ha, or 3.2 ac) of land, one artificial turf soccer ground that can be utilized for official matches, a club house equipped with changing rooms and shower cubicles, night illumination and a 130-car parking. For the low-utilization midday time slot, we are planning to mainly provide it to the local soccer league Thespa Kusatsu as their official practice field. While the premises will be available at night and on holidays as a sports facility for our employees, consideration is also given, on consultation with the Gunma Prefecture and the Isesaki City authorities, to a service to hire it out for general users.
With the kind cooperation of the Thespa Kusatsu football club, it is planned to hold football (soccer) schools for children and a variety of sports promotion events. This idea raises much expectation of the local communities’ opportunity to use the facilities.
Now, on March 19 (Wednesday), starting at 8.30 in the morning, a Praying for Safety Event is scheduled jointly by Thespa Kusatsu (Kusatsu Onsen Football Club Co., Ltd.) and our company.
Sanden Corporation takes the 65th anniversary of foundation as a landmark for redeveloping our Isesaki Head Office as the hub of the Sanden Group, to upgrade our engineering development potential as well as to make every effort to revitalize regional communities.
