They had already started operations in October last year. Recently, they came to be put into complete commercial production and held the ceremony.
More than 100 guests, including Mr. Ono, the Japanese ambassador to Poland, Mr. Kaczmarek, the appointed undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Paprota, the governor of Dolnoslaskie Province, and concerned persons of automobile manufacturers, attended the ceremony and celebrated the opening of the plant. Mr. Masayoshi Ushikubo, Chairman and CEO of Sanden Corporation, stated firmly: "This plant is the one we poured our most advanced technology, experience, and know-how into. We, as the Sanden group, would like to grow it larger, hoping for kind cooperation from the persons who participated in the ceremony today."
They treated the guests in a glamorous air with Kagamiwari (cask-breaking ceremony), toasts, and plant tours, as well as a modern ballet show, musical performances by bands, and a party which provided Japanese dishes much-loved by local people.
They plan to produce over 1 million compressors per year. With the plant in France that started operations in 1996, they eye the provision of their products all over Europe, and for the future, to Russia.
